Thailand Pattaya: iPad Magic for Mitsubishi Warriors!

The last leg of my iPad Magic Asia Tour brought me to Thailand, Pattaya where I got to perform for the agents of Mitsubishi India.

It was truly a delight to be flown to Thailand for my magic.

One of the amazing discoveries doing international performances is to find out that the different cultures react differently to magic. I was quick to adapt and that enabled me to successfully engage the audiences with my magic.

It was a truly amazing night with great entertainment and magic! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the stay at the wonderful resort too!

Chopard: Happiness (An Act on Happiness Thru Magic)

Immediately after my trip from Japan, I came back to Singapore to perform a customized performance on the theme Happiness.

This event was jointly organized by Cortina and Chopard, “The Pursuit of Happy-ness”. I was delighted (or should I say, happy) to be able to storyboard a performance like this for them. In my years as an undergraduate psychology student, I learnt many things about happiness in my positive psychology class. I had to justify my degree and this fell right into place for that!

I spoke about the Hedonistic Threadmill in which the pursuit of money in itself will lead to habituation and in fact, the lack of happiness. I exemplified this theme by performing a routine where I make money appear out of my iPad.

Then I also spoke about having close relationships and social support as fundamental to positive mental health.

As a finale, I summarized the points to consider when it comes to happiness by symbolizing happiness as a balloon on a string, I tore the pieces of the string up sharing that having just one component of happiness is not enough. I magically fused them into one string, and share that a wholesome approach is the best.

I guess you can say that I had a great time, and it was truly, a happy ending!

DHL's 45th Anniversary in Singapore: Digital and Technological Innovation and Magic

It was delightful for me to perform for DHL's 45th Anniversary Singapore on the 24th October 2017 because I have always looked up to DHL as an innovative company that is eager to push the boundaries of technology to make processes and lives better.

My first working encounter with DHL was in the December 2015 where I was commissioned to craft and produce a digital magic act to launch their innovation center. Read the article here!

Moving forward to 2 years on, it brought me great pleasure to be back at their 45th Anniversary celebration, at JW Marriott Singapore.

I started the night with my iPad Roving Magic where I engage the audiences with my visually captivating iPad Magic. The audiences were enthralled as, for most of them, this is the first time they have experienced digital iPad Magic.

After the cocktail reception, I had to get ready for the iPad Illusion Show on stage. This show was tremendously well received as it embraced the company's vision of being technologically driven. 

Apart from my segment, the night was laced with technological artifacts like an interactive robot and a presentation on Drones.

Yes Bank: India Conference for 1000 Guest in Singapore

After my bouts of iPad Magic stints around India, I was specially requested to perform for an international India event in Singapore. This was an event organized by Yes Bank of India. The event itself hosted more than 1000 guests, held in the lovely Grand Ball Room of Mandarin Orchard.

It was a terrific crowd, and I was commissioned to create a customized segment where I would make their logo appear.
